We made a Christmas village using the paper sloyd skills we learned last term. Despite a few frustrations, bad attitudes(including my own), and apologies, it turned out pretty cute in the end.

Our afternoon handicraft project was making felted wool balls for a garland. The children loved rolling the balls and the warm soapy water. It was a very sensory activity. The final result is lovely.

It snowed in the night. It is a beautiful white world outside. Inside it is cozy and warm with the glow of the fire and the twinkle of Christmas lights. It is perfect for cuddling up with a kitty and reading a book. Another boy is making waffles for breakfast while a small girl observes. I love this kind of slow relaxed morning. After breakfast they will probably all go play in the snow, then we will read stories and do crafts.
