- 3 cups fresh basil leaves
- 3 large cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 toasted pinenuts, walnuts,
- or almonds
- 1/2 cup grated parmeson cheese
- Place basil, garlic, salt, pepper, oil, and nuts into blender.
- Blend until well chopped.
- Toss with parmesan cheese and cooked pasta
- Makes enough for 1 lb. pasta.
